Odds are it'll land on Romney. Pretty much anyone who finishes second in the primaries the election earlier is the winner the next year, at least among recent republican candidates (last 20-ish years)
good deals are here.

^Romney is the only one who ever had a chance. He'll get the nomination and take either Gingritch or Santorum for veep. If not, Gingritch is the only other realistic option I can see. Perry's out since his debate slip up. There are three main reasons he couldn't be the candidate, his positions are redundant, he doesn't have the history of national politics that Romney, and uh...uh...I forgot what the last one was...

:picard: Kids can pray in school. Schools can't lead prayer, but schools can't stop students from praying either. And people can openly celebrate Christmas all they want. Let me repeat that: People can openly celebrate whatever holiday they want. Government institutions/representatives of the state(when on the job) are not people.

Unrelated, I guess I can't declare my major until I've finished these dumb basic classes that I only have to take since I transferred to a school with different requirements. I was hoping to graduate next spring but because of this and because of equally dumb gen. ed. requirements, I'll have to go another semester. Bleh.

Fuck me, I overslept this morning and I had two assignments due for one of my classes that are 30% of my grade together. Well, my prof is a real stickler, and assignments have to be date stamped by the due time or they aren't accepted. Well, I got there and stamped them eleven minutes late. Due to those eleven minutes, I likely won't get the required 60% to get credit for the class, which is only offered once per year. So instead of graduating this spring, I might need to go back for ONE class next fall.

For the "it gets better" crowd, it doesn't get better. It just gets fucked in new and different ways.

Got a lab report due in tomorrow, i THINK it's 4PM (and basically if it isn't I'm fucked, and I can't know before I go in at 9am), and I haven't started yet. I tried earlier, but then I found out I'm missing some results I need... Thank fucking god it's CFD so I can go in and quickly do it again tomorrow, but I'll need to get most of it done tonight to have time, and I haven't started! I've been sitting here for like 3 hours with the report document open procrastinating. I hate problems that are totally my fault. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? It's 1AM and I've wanted to go to bed so much for 5 hours but haven't because of this report but I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN DOING IT.

I really don't know how I'm in my 3rd year of what's supposed to be a difficult degree with a good average grade so far.

Last possible opportunity tomorrow to turn in a paper that I need to keep from failing?
Don't have any other legit work to do?
Gotta get up in 6 hours?

Consider myself you a day from now. I'm tired as shit cause I waited until 2:30 to write a paper, but either way, it's over and turned in now. Now I can drink beer and then sleep. I just need to get off my lazy ass and go to the store first.

having a conversation with some of my best friends for the last five years that needed to happen. there's been tension (passive aggressive remarks, shit like that) in our relationship for a long time and it sucks because this conversation is obviously going towards 'we're growing apart and we just don't get along the way we used to.'

i've seen it coming for a while but it still kind of sucks when people have to fade away

My supervisors at work left me a holiday gift basket thing in it with a bunch of candy.
Will resume hating myself for my eating habits in an hour or so.
