Is it a looper? You're manipulating a sample, or can you manipulate live audio (as it happens)? Or do you have to capture audio, in order to manipulate it?

You turn on the pedal by hitting the bypass switch. Then press the blob and a short sample of the live audio is captured and can manipulated as long as you hold the blob pressed or hit the second footswitch (hold).

It is very much able to be used by your foot! The "blob" has two functions basically, you can push it "around" to get the different effects - ie the delay/glitch push up to make it go "fast forward" and pull it back to make it "slow down". The range of the flanger/mod can be editted with the foot that gives it ALOT of expression.

The blob can also be pushed down to have an effect like Alexey shared.
