What's the finish gonna be on the body? The faux binding is sick.

Just edited that, sorry. It's brushed matte Titanium anodized. Not quite as bright as the brushed aluminum but not quite charcoal grey. In the middle somewhere...

Thanks dudes, much appreciated!

It's not even started yet, still finalizing all the details and I'm already wishing it were here. Kevin said the body and neck are machined and ready to go get anodized tho, 15 weeks or so is the estimate after start date which should be really damn soon. Best part is I saved so fucking long that it's pretty much paid off so when it's done, it'll ship asap!

What's the word skully, think it'll be headed back next week?

I dunno to be honest dude. Kevin said he would email me when the guitar landed but he never did. Hopefully I'll get an email in a few days that it's done, I know it's in good hands either way

Or a nice sticker of a penis.

Seriously though, it is really pretty despite being blonde.
I feel sort of heretic, but I do feel like I will swap those pickups out after a month or two. I want this with a splittable Humbucker in the bridge and a wide range in the neck.

@Robin: I'd love that too!

You hear back from that dude about that email yet? ;)

I like you're idea for the pickup swap too, add some ballz and versatility for sure. I've heard p90s in aluminum guitars are dead silent tho in terms of hum, something to do with being completely wrapped/shielded in an aluminum body I suppose....

Dude replied. It's still available. Now let's see if he agrees to my haggle. If so I'm going to call in sick and drive down there to try that thing and probably buy it. Let's see, if i like em I'm going to keep those pickups, while I do like the idea of that particular pickup combo, I won't change a winning guitar for the fuck of it.

Dude won't budge on the price. It's more than I can afford, really. But I did get my mind set on this thing. Fuck. Calculations, calculations to make.
