Yum Yum Yum Yum I love Swart amps. Are both of those 6v6se Space tones or is one of them a cab?

Have you tried them in a band situation? Do they have enough volume?

Both 6v6ses (second one popped up at a good price and couldn't resist :p )
I have, and they didn't
It was a kind of shoegazey, self described 'chill wave' (barf), rock band
Other guitarist played into a twin, really loud drummer
They had a PA in the practice space though, so I just mic'd up and it sounded great
Such  natural fuzzy distortion

I can imagine they'd work for the more intimate, folksy stuff I'm doing now, but that band was all about space and volume

afaik 10" aren't technically lower in volume than 12" or 15", but the bigger the membrane, the more physical punch you get. It just moves more air. So that feeling of "someone has put the bass cab right in my body" that you have on some gigs is harder to do/ impossible with 10". On the other hand, 10" have a more direct action and spring to life much faster. They are supposed to be clearer and have more definition.

The Sunn has two old JBL 15's. The Marshall 8x10 I just converted to a 4x12 with wgs et65's. The dark grill Emperor has Eminence GB12's which I fucking love. The other Emperor has the lightning speakers they stock. Mediocre speaker I'd say. And the 2x12 Emperor Eminence Cannabis Rex 12's.

Not an emperor cab, but I have it now, and I fucking love it.
The guy I got it from replaced the power tubes with a matched pair from the tube store so I plan on replacing the preamp tubes with some ehx gold 12ax7s or something of the sort.

Probably be replacing the speakers with a Cannabis Rex and a Wizard.

Get yourself some TAD 7025s for the Pre, you’ll love the sound.
