Yeah, I feel like with somebody who has a crazy imagination (such as myself) you can go plenty of different ways with that.
I like "I HAVE A KNOB NOW"
heh heh heh...

My cat just got her head stuck in the sleeve of one of my coats. Simultaneously hilarious and kind of sad. I set her free when she started struggling too much (but not before getting a couple of photos).

I found my dam glasses. I misplaced them about a week ago when I came home drunk from a party. I had convinced myself that I'd lost then at the party or left them somewhere. As it turns out I found them behind the TV.

that's one argument in favor of having separate glasses for reading and standard vision rather than bifocals...you can use the reading glasses to help find the standard-vision specs

Unfortunately, not the best photos. Oh well, still a cat with her head stuck in a sleeve.

I thought it was going to be like, your cat crawled through the sleeve and got its head stuck sticking out the end of the sleeve. I am impressed that your cat managed to get stuck from the opposite approach.

those are still pretty funny.
had an excellent sound evening tonight. i had a particular song on my mind for which i needed to get the sunburst Strat to make Jerry Garcia Europe 72 noises, and so i turned the amplifier on and worked with the tone settings and reverb until i got the amp into the right kind of sound, that is, a tube preamp that's warm and present pushed into a power stage that's fairly imperturbable. once i had that sound dialed in where i liked it, i worked on setting the amplifier reverb versus the Ghost Echo on the board, winding up with the amp 'verb a tidge under 3 and a bigger, airier setting on the Ghost Echo with the Dwell up about halfway so it made a huge space that decayed into itself naturally. the really happy thing was that once this was done everything else i ran into these settings sounded magnificent...the fuzz, the filters, the Neil Young shit with the octave divider on, running the whole schlematzl through the Velcroar to trash-compact it, and using the great long float of the Ghost Echo to set up an ambient thing with loops of different lengths on the 2 loopers that chirped and chattered back and forth for minutes before my ears got tired--things were running up about 4 on the Laney, much louder than i usually play at home--and i shut down the loopers sequentially. i just love it when i play stuff and everything sounds good. when the Strat--the thinnest-sounding of the guitars--sounds fat in the places it's supposed to. when the pulsed repeats from the delay->trem make the envelope filter go "WHOCK-WHOCK-WHOCK" just like i was hoping they would, and then i step on a fuzz and it sounds like sticking Kraftwerk's finger into a light socket.

My avatar is still a work in progress, but it looks pretty damn awesome so far. Took two hours to get what I have, only to realize that I had too many extra frames, and it looked bad. So I cut it down, and now it's really short. Should look INCREDIBLE when I'm done, though.
Edit: Ran into an issue with a few frames not wanting to work with the others (figured it might happen eventually, since I'm databending each frame), and I don't feel like making it a very long gif. It loops fine, so whatever, it's done.

I CAN SIT IN THE LOTUS POSITION!
(for a short while but it's no less of an accomplishment +.+)
Also, I'm gonna meditate in complete darkness for a whole week as soon as my family goes to vacation. Free DMT trips ftw <3
