Decided today I'm going to have two pedalboards.

My huge one for guitar stuff and another to pair with a drone machine/synth. So things would look like this (the stuff in italics are things I have yet to purchase):

Board #1
Phantom Ring
Sparkle Motion
Year4545
Eau Claire Thunder/Robot Devil
Atomic Clock
Reverberator
Phaser
Tremolo
ISP Decimator

Board 2
Synth/Drone Machine
Mini Ark
Tracer City or WMD Fatman or some other filter
Wow and Flutter or some other delay

I think it would be cool to have the whole Snazzy line but that'd be quite expensive, we'll see if I can curb my spending on other things.
I think once these two are assembled I'd be pretty satisfied, I'd still probably add a pedal or two when GAS takes over and definitely will look for a drum machine.

Laney TT100H?

Mine is the best non-boutique 100w on the block if you ask my opinion. Only thing I don't dig is that there's three channels, but some folks are into that.

not finding any used on the bay...or new for that matter. must be a good sign.

I picked one up used for about a grand with the matching cab a few years ago (when things were more expensive), great amps, but don't really hold their value. I saw one being sold for £1,700 (Sterling!)new about a year ago, but it wouldn't fetch that or anything like it on the used market. I've never been a Marshall guy, so when I was playing guitar in a sludge band a few years back I swung for the Iommi approved goodness.

It's the Laney version of a Mesa Triple Rectifier I think. Three channels, increasing gain stages, the third can be set to pretty high gain. The onboard reverb isn't great, but there's an effects loop. They weren't super sucessful, so I don't think they make 'em anymore.

There's a video of us feeding the second channel (crunch, i suppose) a Squier tele on our Vimeo and stuff, but I'm not going to spam it here. It is a hefty amp.

Worth hunting down, if you can find them. I wouldn't say it'd cost you an arm and a leg doing it.

you either have to be a drug lord or multi millionaire at the rate you buy gear ZP

ha, sadly no. I do have a pretty good-paying job, though, and what overtime and bonus money I get I can spend as I see fit - I can pay my bills with my 42 hours a week. I have a payday coming up that will have 72 hours of overtime, plus 24 hours holiday pay, plus 36 hours of half-pay for the holidays....new guitar time!

Yeah, a paycheck like that should result in a badass purchase.

Ever find time to play all that sexy gear when your knocking out 72 hours of OT? That's simply more hours at work than I'm cut out for haha!

Fair bit of GAS directed towards this (and variations of other RB6s but mainly flat-top Mary Kay ones):

When I'm in the middle of it, no. I've not played nearly enough the past 6 months with the amount I've been working plus the only real local rehearsal spot shut down. It's supposed to reopen in a few weeks, though, and the big goal of 2012 is to play and record a lot more. I have tons of ideas on deck and no time to realize them. Ha, on the plus side, my job is usually not very taxing so I get lots of time on the clock to think about music!

The etch was done by Danny Walters... not sure if he's on this forum, he's on talkbass as danndubblewe, but if anyone wants his contact info just pm me. I saw a couple of etches he did and thought maybe he could do a number on my pog2 which has always been an eyesore. I would definitely recommend him.

And yes, indeed, that's me. :hello:

photoshop is your friend, jwar. I've spent countless hours yogaflaming chumps on PSN (though Dhalsim is pretty gimped now) figured the graphic was appropriate. :idk:
