Don't get me wrong, I think it's a interesting instrument. I just think it'll have limited appeal.
As B.S. mentioned, soprano saxophones are difficult enough to play without making 'em "fretless". I think it's more of a tárogató than it is a saxophone anyway. Which makes sense since those dudes are Hungarian. Which'll also give it even more limited appeal. I certainly hope there's an adventurous sax player willing to try it.
I also applaud Hans Zimmer's approach to composing no matter how "borrowed" it may be. I certainly like whatever he's borrowing from. To extend the Hungarian thing, it's kinda like Béla Bartók all over again.

I've been messing around with various cheap SS amps I've acquired over the years and I've realized that pretty much every ambient or "textural" pedal demo just sounds like a Vox Pathfinder 15R with various knobs turned all the way up.
