The polls leading up have suggested that Macron had a 20 point lead going in. Of course we know how that can turn out to not be the case (ugh), but... that's a significantly wider margin compared to Clinton v. Trump.
All I know is that I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The world doesn't need another nationalistic monster in charge.
