After I took pre-calculus the next class was trigonometry, or the study of triangles. Luckily I wasn't required to take it!

Reading all^that after taking Calc 2 this last semester made me rage at what I've been forced to take.

I had to get a weird double root canal procedure thing done on one tooth and it totally didn't hurt.
I'm so fucking glad it didn't hurt.
This must be the only dentist alive who can actually numb your shit correctly.

so i've got my writing samples ready for the tech writer job...a product datasheet from my last job, an informal version of how to set up the Stratocaster tremolo from the Gretsch Pages, a revised version of that procedure set up like an instructional manual with figures and numbered steps, and the post from the other night about trains in America in the 50s to show them i can really write. i don't have a bitchin' tech writer portfolio, so i'm just going to give them what i have.

I really wanted to put the Maths episode of Look Around You up here, but apparently it's the one episode that has been completely wiped from YouTube.

Today's been a pretty damn good day so far, started with a tour of Alcatraz, then had a good lunch at Fisherman's Wharf. We ended up going to Haight-Ashbury, I bought a bunch of albums at Amoeba Records and my girlfriend bought random trinkets in other shops.

To top it off, we bought some pot off a shady weirdo at the entrance to Golden Gate Park, bought the cheapest pipe we could find, and got really stoned in the park. Now it's time to figure out where to go for a late dinner and some drinks. :snax:
