I fucking hate selling shit on craigslist. Had this middle aged guy come over to check out an acoustic I'm selling, diddles around for 45 minutes while talking about all these great deals he can get on new guitars. Then he lowballs the fuck out of me because the action is too high and he'll apparently have to spend $100 on a setup. So I grab my allen keys and adjust the truss rod, bam perfect fucking action. Continues to lowball me, I gave him my lowest price and he countered $20 lower. Fuck you asshole, I'm not budging, I'd rather keep it than go a cent less for you time waster. Took over an hour out of my evening.

Dude, just sell pictures of your feet. There is a creepy thriving market on Craigslist for those. Or if you're really in a bind, get some guy to pay you $50 in order for you to walk on him. Only if you just got done surfing, though.
Yeah. I've seen that ad.
Craigslist.
Craigslist.

I get really annoyed when people quote Nietzche in conversation. I'm not sure whether it's the act that is ridiculously pretentious, or if it's just the people I have experienced do it that are.

It's all context brother. If one is discussing philosophy, thought or history, it's acceptable.
If one is discussing burritos, it is pretentious. And deserving of a sudden evisceration.

If you're encountering him in casual conversation, I give you 50000:1 odds that the person spouting his name hasn't got a clue about where he fits in to philosophical history, or what he's actually talking about.
I will bet the same odds that said person is a mega fan of Fight Club

This is an annoying thing to read at the top of a page. Makes me go back and remember what nonsense was going on in here before.
In other news, I have the infamous Taco Bell-y ache. I also have three group projects due on Wednesday, and all I really want to do is play guitar which I rarely get to do anymore.

I hate when I can't remember anything about a song except for one detail and the fact that I like it.

having gotten all my 2010 tax stuff ready, i now discover that i probably won't get a refund at all due to a withdrawal i made from my 401k to cover emergency expenses that didn't have taxes withheld. this in combination with having to pay my attorney has really fucked my finances up the arse sideways for the rest of the year. if my friend doesn't get his place sublet and get out here soon or i don't find a job, i'm going to have to start doing drastic shit to keep the lights on for Christmas. i'm sitting here looking at my pedalboard and thinking "what could i stand to let go?"

The bank turned down a check I wrote even though I'm certain I have enough in my account. That's obnoxious.
