EDIT: I keep reading that post and it just gets funnier every time. I know my own speech patterns so I can tell what parts were meant to be individual fragments, but I have no idea what the whole sentences were supposed to be.

they rust on me and just give after a few years... I hate new strings on bass it takes a good week before I am happy again.

I break strings every three to five months. So, it works out!
