Spotted this on the new modules list on modulargrid. If I got this and a Pamela to replace my Rhythm/Mito combo I'd have a bit more HP to work with, and probably a bit more flexibility as well. Keeping an eye on it.

thanks homie! unfortunately, we're renting an apartment now, not paying down a house. real estate is too crazy out here right now. only qualified for 300 g's loans, and that means the HOOD. so, renting for a year or two, trying to sort out our finances to get a better loan, HOPE THE MARKET GOES BACK TOWARDS REALISTIC.

but. i'm'a have enough space to have actual KEYBOARDS and a PATCH BAY and PEDALS AND EFFECTS LAID OUT FOR CLOSE USING. i. am. EXCITED.

Yeah looking at the DLD feature set while having gas for a Rainmaker or Magneto I was just like "damn this thing covers almost everything I want, in 20hp, at half the price of the big ones". Easy decision.
right? was going through the exact same thought process when i realized as awesome as Chrono is, i want more delay. DLD has me moisssssssst.

Derp, that's what I get for reading during work.

Still, moar space is better space.

ALL THE SPACES PLEASE.

Ghost Hipstah - jia. was looking at those. look FUN. i'm still really interested in a uGrids too.

urf. SMR just got in. should be a short day at work, and SUPER want to get lost in it for a few hours, but have to pack up stuff to move. we only have a 1.2 bedroom house right now, but it's surprising how much shit you accumulate.

i am enjoying making piles of donation stuff that i havena used for years. actually, anything that i haven't touched in a year and don't miss? PRUNED.

THE PRUNINING.

Yes those jams look jammy. Didn't hear of Beast-Tek before and now want their GLITCH DRUM. Some NoNo People at muffwiggler forum claim the output is quiet but I don't know if I care about that because can fix with decent mixing? Probably.

Just read on Muffs that Control is cancelling some of the Plaits pre-orders due to some issue. I hope my order makes it through still :erm:

yeah. apparently there were more failures in the first module batch than Mssr. Olivier expected, so he had to short some pre order batches.

it still looks like DetMod is getting theirs on Thursday. i hope both of mines are there.

hope your Control goes through meng! when did you order? most people that got canceled ordered on Friday, seems to be the cutoff?

I ordered Friday after it was announced, not sure you could actually pre-order earlier than that? Hopefully I ordered early enough, though. I believe most people who are having theirs cancelled ordered Friday night and I ordered like...late afternoon..... :erm:

also, this is ridiculously cool. Eric did a black faceplate for my Shuttle Control so it doesn't throw off the all black row i have it in.

I think if you haven't received a cancellation email yet, you're fine. I haven't received an email (and hopefully won't) and I ordered early afternoon (EST) so I have trouble believing that THOSE orders are being cancelled too. I think it's a handful, not like, half.

lol. i mean. i wouldn't go THAT far. but. yeah. gold isn't my favorite color.

it looks okay to me in person, but i don't dig it next to black unless it's dead center and i didn't want to do that and it was a bitch to make things fit that way and WOOOOOOOO BEING TOO WORRIED ABOUT LOOKS.

now, SMR noise times for a bit, then pack House Loots.

I groaned so loud, someone in my office asked me what it was about. The look on their face told me they wished they hadn't. Totally worth it.

ANNNNYWAYS, I figure throwing a LoFi Junky or Warped Vinylnin the loop of one side of the DLD and with a little patching you'll get a pretty nice Frippertronics approximation. From a philosophical standpoint it's a little more modular than a Rainmaker or Magneto, but not necessarily better.

Should be the standard color. I probably would have bought one already but I have been holding back ordering one just because I don't want to look at a bright yellow module.
(designed by man with childhood issues- I know let's make it look like my brother's Tonka Dumptruck)
I spend lots of time in front of my box looking at the thing.
The yellow is almost as bad as the Roland green thing with their Aira series. Total buzz kill. Nothing futuristic about the Aria green color unless your future is the 1980's.
Toy Truck yellow is not how I feel when I am trying to make my sounds.

Let's face it mood is important and things that blow the mood have to go.

..... and i'm excited to have room to setup my TB-3 soon. lol. i also, am NOT a fan of that Cyberpunk The Future Is The MATRIX Green.

defo going to see if i can do something about that.

but yeah. on the one hand, sound/function of aesthetics. ALWAYS. on the other, you are correct suh. if i spend a lot of time looking at or working with something, it would be nice if it tickles my eyeballs and yummifies my cute things happy place as well.
