Battles are fucking AWESOME. like, 10 years ago or some shit (my memory and time sense are fucked. so add or subtract 9 years from that) i was in a Rasputin's trying to support brick and mortar stores.... and they had NO fuckin ixea how to look for their shit. i was like, "NO. not Freestyle Battle Wars Of LA. no, i don't care WHICH volume. comefuckingON. i love freaking customers out by playing battles in the shop. we are a cd shop after all. a good mix of battles, acoustic ladyland and holy fuck usually gets the mood going.

GOOD GAWD I LOVE ACOUSTIC LADYLAND.
only band i can think of that i got ino semi-recently that influences my playing. like, there's so much the drums and bass and horns do that i try to emulate. well, FAIL at emulating. but still.
