I can see producers with excess cash getting these, but it seems fairly pointless to me. I have a Goat plugin (they're on sale all the time for $10), and I don't see a $300 alternative outperforming it for my needs.

*new company alert*

Batch #1 is ready to go. I don't love the UI (4 pages of menu-less editing). If you don't mind that, this might be a nice compliment to a Gen Loss or Wardenclyffe, for people seeking the ultimate lo-fi rig.

I've been on the fence regarding the Generation Loss MkII for whatever reason--I know it's a whole new thing, and I like the new features, but I just haven't been able to pull the trigger. I decided to spend that money on Ribbons instead. Having a looper and reverb built in is appealing, and the "touch" features seem like they have a lot of potential. I think I'll be able to get along with the UI, but we'll see. Chase Bliss has introduced Meris-style unlabeled secondary features with the Gen Loss MkII, so there aren't really any complex digital pedals with a wysiwyg interface anymore. Maybe more pedal companies will start using tiny screens with knob labels and positions on them like Cooper FX did with the Arcades and now Alexander has with their Leap series.

There are several demos for the Korg Drumlogue ($600 retail), but everyone I skipped through just features shitty club music. It would have been nice to hear something in the neighborhood of experimental/ambient/lo-fi hip hop/percussion with delay pedals. Loopop has a demo, but who wants to listen to a 58-min oral presentation at midnight? If someone finds a good demo, please share it.

I saw this and first was intrigued but 4 knobs is way too few. Like 4 layers of functions? nope! then i realized i also am pedge...

But since we get new small companies doing digital does that mean the chip shortage thing is over? hoping more crazy people get back to making DSP

Also anybody who mentioned the new dreadbox? pitchy delay sounds nice
