Bass + Eau Claire Thunder = instant doom.

That is all.

Holy Schnikes wrote:My Jazzy came in Wednesday. So good, head over heels for it.

I was initially worried about it being hella bright with that maple board and JM pickups but it sounds super FAT and gorgeous. The Custom Shop pickups DOMINATE the Antiquity IIs I had on my old Thurston Moore sig. The Antiquity set was so thin sounding and delivered those brittle ice pick highs I loathe. These, however, are fairly mellow and thick sounding while still retaining that trademark JM jangly sound.

Finish has very light "relic", kind of a worn in feel and look, neck feels great, and the body resonates like a mutha. Weighs in at 8.5lbs so it's a beefy fucker. Excellent all around and definitely a keeper!

Glad you are digging it! To be honest I was on the fence when you posted the first pics (the pickguard just looked too green) but these pics really do the guitar justice. So. Much. Snazz

Well done sir. The Ritual is one hell of an awesome fuzz. I need to pick one up for myself in that snazzy black chrome cyclops Jesus finish.

I just ordered the new fuzzrocious pedal. "Ram the Man Parts." Apart from being an awesome name and a botch reference, i actually saw ryan testing out the prototype a few weeks back. LCan't wait till it comes in.

Also, I'm not gonna quote it, but AngryGoldfish's rant/speech was spot on. I may have to quote that elsewhere. Believe me guys this kind of music is in no danger of going "mainstream" Out of the countless musicians I've dealt with from cl over the last year, a grand total of ONE was on the same page as me musically. Typical comments- "That sounds really good. Why do you play it so slow?" "that sounds really good, do you like Tool?" That sounds really good, you should get some newer amps" "whats a Red Fang?"

I sent a link to this place to D, dunno if he read it or not. Who else are we missing? I know there's a few

Oh, I hear ya, I didn't even like it the first time I came across it last year but it steadily grew on me until pure GAS erupted!

I just got the Mastery Bridge tonight as well, goddamn that thing is nice! Simple install, zero string buzz, sustain and resonance both increased, fit is perfect, saddle design kicks ass for use with the trem, and only four well placed intonation screws that somehow intonate all six strings with ease while not getting in the way of that break angle like those on the standard bridge. Oh, and it's a cool brushed finish to boot. :thumb:

Boing!!!
Thank you something to keep me off BST (lies, I'm never off BST)
I love that everyone if you motherfuckers is thinking about your rig all the damn time and I don't feel so sad.
I can choose to feel like comic book guy "I wasted my life" or do one of my favorite things and offer whiskey trades.
What's a whiskey trade?
It's when you've done so many BST with someone that you'll do a deal when youre all fucked up cause at this point you know you'll never be content or "done" so you wanna help a fellow fool out.
Y'all know who you are!
Ummm did I just say that shit out loud?
Yerp
