The one you're considering look anything like this Mick?

Nearly. The one I'm looking at has a slightly different pickguard and P90's. I'll write the dude an email.

So many thanks, man. I feel honored. Basically the first nice thing someone has said to me today. I'll write the dude and email.

All it needs is being thrown in an oven by Elwood. Lol
Or a nice sticker of a penis.
Seriously though, it is really pretty despite being blonde.
I feel sort of heretic, but I do feel like I will swap those pickups out after a month or two. I want this with a splittable Humbucker in the bridge and a wide range in the neck.
@Robin: I'd love that too!

You hear back from that dude about that email yet?

I like you're idea for the pickup swap too, add some ballz and versatility for sure. I've heard p90s in aluminum guitars are dead silent tho in terms of hum, something to do with being completely wrapped/shielded in an aluminum body I suppose....

Yep. My old p90's made ZERO noise! I have a feeling the new ones won't either!

What's the word skully, think it'll be headed back next week?
Speaking of pickups, Kevin and I just finalized my Chessie wiring this weekend. Gonna do it up similar to a Pawnshop Mustang, 2 custom wound EGC humbuckers, each with a 3-way slider to go from split (inner coil)
/series (HB mode)
/split (outer coil). Then a 3-way toggle for the pickup selector as well as 2 volume and 2 tone controls.
Toggle and sliders will all be condensed to a smaller black anodized control plate on lower horn to match the pickguard. Based the look and layout off an old Yamaha TVL I owned. With the Bigsby included and a similar style f-hole (tho reversed and not two separate cutouts per hole like the yamaha), it won't look too far off honestly...
Here's the TVL, sorry for the BIG pic.

I've got some high expectations.
Body, neck, and headstock finish won't be black, instead a brushed Titanium anodized. Fretboard, pickguard, and control plate will all be matte black anodized with exposed aluminum edges to form a kinda faux binding look like this...
