the demo sounds pretty darn good! Since the Tremolessnce convinced me tremolo wasn't lame, perhaps the Cosmi will sell me on chorus! Can't wait to give it a demo!

Waveforms are really cool, great way to spice up an analog pedal! I've pestered Austin a bit about releasing a GK CV box, I think it would rule. You know you can even draw a waveform with the depth knob and save it, 4 or 5 saves even, and then have that waveform be the CV signal.. it's a really powerful CV controller. He nailed it bigtime.

I love the random setting and I love the spiral setting, those just sound extra cool to me.

Me too! The time is ripe for a powerful CV control box... I've looked into making my own a bit more but I don't have access to something as powerful as the GK's CV section, nobody makes something that can do all that, pre-programmed on a chip. Close, but not quite...

It puts the wet signal either in phase or out of phase with the dry signal and that has audible consequences in mono and in stereo.

In mono, the signals being in phase together is the sound of the v2, that prominent sweep sound. When the wet signal is out of phase with the dry it sounds more resonant/vowely/hollow and the sweep sound isn't as focused.

In stereo, when the signals are in phase you get a chorus effect that's positioned between the amps and has the prominent sweep characteristic. When they're out of phase the chorus effect is focused much more in each amp, making them sound wider apart and making the chorus sound move between them.

I think it'll be a little higher.. I don't think it'll be under $300. It's hard to say just yet because I don't know how much the pcbs and boxes will be, but they'll be by far our most expensive builds yet, and the parts count is very high... even with the smd parts done on a machine I'll still have a lot of pcb work to do to build each pedal. So all that, plus considering the features, and remembering there's two identical Cosmichorus pedals in each box, shall probably make for a $300 price tag, ish.

Next up I think I'll do a demo with the Cosmi and the Elements, do an all distorted, gainy type of demo...

As for the price, v2 was $275... and there is a lot more in the v3.
