I always liked FF4 [SNES FF2] better as there was just too much stuff with the relics and I wasnt into doing all the character so the end when you needed 3 teams was a bit of a grind. My favorite is the game boy advance rerelease of FF1 on the Dawn of Souls cart... the main game is updated nicely, and the extra dungon bosses are really a challenge and made me realize how important the spell "temper" is

Side question, are there websites besides craigslist and ebay where I should post old SNES games that I want to sell for buyers to see? I have games just sitting that I woudl sell for some collector seeking it out, but dont want to deal with ebay fees or having to bump a carisglist add weekly.

My brother is putting together an emulator on a PSP with an insane amount of NES, SNES, Genesis and Neo-Geo games on it. I've played his and it's pretty awesome. My goal is to just play all of the terrible games of my youth first and then eventually get to the good ones again. I figure it's a better way to spend my commute than nodding off on the train to work.

Smashed it through Metro, really satisfied.

Playing Diablo 3 again, haven't played it since 2012 and it does feel a lot different. My Demon Hunter feels underpowered, my Wizard is still pretty good. But started a new Monk and demolishing everything, I just love dungeon crawlers.

Damn it, Dark Souls II. Trying this bastard again.
Finally figured out that there is a place to go besides that castle area full of giants.
I keep hitting X to attack and using all of my freaking lifegems.

Awh man I spent so long trying to kill them before figuring out that it wasn't a good idea
Definitely try to head through the Forest of Fallen Giants first

Okay, cool. Forest of Fallen Giants makes me feel like I can actually play the game. Those long sword, dudes are no fun, though.
Is there any kind of advancing my character I should be doing at this point?

It depends on what type of character you're trying to make. I usually go melee, but lately I've been experimenting with Mage characters. They're all viable for the most part. It just depends on how you want to play.

Just finished Steamworld Dig, it was a cute little game, a bit short but it was fun!

Definitely a melee type. I have no idea how leveling or anything works in DS.

Kill a lotta mans, get monies.
Plan your route to a nearby bonfire so that you can spend monies to increase your stat points (also raising your level).
Reach a high enough level to where you need lots of monies.
Obtain monies.
Die.
Stop playing for two months.

Yeah it really depends on your character build. Try to look at where you're weak for upgrades. It might also be beneficial to upgrade some weapons early on if you're having trouble; you'll always find more titanite shards, etc. later on. Careful with twinkling titanite though as it's harder to come by

Leveling requires you to talk to the emerald herald. She's the one that gave you the flask in Majula. Hopefully you got the flask lol

I did not. I didn't know there was anyone else in the town. I saw the blacksmith, who is locked out, the merchant sitting in that house and the cat.

She's near the cliff by the bonfire. Pretty essential and hidden. I missed her for a long while too
