Yup, I think they do kids' parties and maybe hospital visits and stuff like that. The people we rented from are mainly breeders and do the puppy-renting thing to make extra money before someone buys them.

I have been sick for most of the week with bronchitis. Had been wheezing, coughing shit up, and nose either stopped up, or running. Wrong thread, you say? Keep reading. Little by little, I started to feel better and better. But the wheezing persisted. Until tonight. Not long after I went on a nice walk through the neighborhood, the wheezing stopped. And I'm going on Day 4 as a non smoker!!! Unhindered breathing rules. Not being a slave to some 5+$ a pack bullshit that doesn't get you high rules. Fuck. Yes.

i always found that the best way to quit smoking cigarettes was to get sick and not be able to smoke for a few days or a week or more. once you have several days away from it, it's a lot less appealing, and if you're still recovering from being ill it emphasizes the "hey, this makes me SICK" aspect of smoking.

Been making quite a few connections lately. Earlier tonight I wasn't feeling super motivated to lead at band practice tomorrow, but after talking to some people who could get me into good-ass studios in Chicago (they were namedroppin' like muthafucka's), I'm feeling like being Task-Master von Nazi-Man and rerecording demo's again.

Oh and things might be going well with a girl.

That's how I quit, I was sick as fuck and just didn't want a smoke for about three days. Even when I started feeling better I decided to keep going to see how long I could do without, I'm up to 8 months now.

I quit smoking tobacco and freed myself from an over reliance (now a frivoulous friendship) on weed from sheer fear of dry socket.

Pain is an awesome motivator, when it's possibly imminent.

Cancer was FAR AWAY so it didn't matter.
