I think this is the most I could handle, usually I have one or two fewer pedals on the board, but right now I needed THREE dirt boxes plus the full bevy of modulation + filter. If I could squeeze a flanger on there I would, and then a Pitch Pirate... hmm.

This. So god damn this. I very slightly prefer the tone of the OctaBass (stands out in a mix just a bit more aggressively), but the tracking of the Aguilar makes it the big winner. It just sounds soooooooooo thick and lovely. Touchy volume controls as is the Aguilar way, but that's a minor complaint.

SoCal n' stuff, I'm in Loma Linda which is about an hour west of Palm Springs. I could say 90 minutes east of LA but I hate that stupid city. Berkeley fuckin' rocks! Only been there once but I looooooooooove it. Gonna be up that way later this year, we haven't visited NorCal in a spell. Used to be up there annually, sister-in-law livin' in Sacto, but we haven't made the pilgrimage for awhile.

Not much in the form of boobage, but I've always found this woman RIDICULOUSLY attractive. The one time I saw Hammers of Misfortune in concert she was playing bass for them. They opened with The Dragon Is Summoned with her on lead vocals, and I almost shat myself.

I drove over 430 miles (each way) to see that show. So god damn worth just the first 10 seconds alone.

i'm trying to entice (really, just broached the subject in an email so maybe entice's the wrong word. mayne (hopefully) she's as geeked as i am about the idea) of the singer grrL that i LURV that we're working with to play keys and synth. i've heard her youtube stuff and she's GOOD. i do kinda like the idea of a three piece more than a four. easier.

Surely he had a good excuse, like re-stocking his weed supply then thoroughly testing it.
