Just got back from seeing Peter's(rigideternity) band play with Fight Amp in a 10x15 living room. Fucking awesome. Also, Peter was playing that 300 watt Verellen and it sounded un-fucking-real, super good.

This is why I need to move to America.

Id go for bass VI unless you want the extended range. If you dig 6 strings, jut make a bigger guitar.

Im currently building a BASS VI for myself too. 30 inches of pummeling death. the body weighs like 30 pounds right now hahaha this wood is so insanely dense White limba back and Padouk top. This woods red color is so strong if you wet it it bleeds all over the place, so awesome.

I've said this before, but that shape is amazing. I fucking love it.

720v plate voltage, on the scope 210 clean watts, 340 watts dirty. sounds like a ton of bricks.

I find it amazing that it can reach 340 watts of clipping power out of only 200. Tube technology really is amazing and quite fascinating.

Also, Hiwatt amps are some of the coolest on the planet. I think I'm going to use the same tolex for my Dunwich. And Gold Lion tubes are really good.

what kind of plate voltage are you running?
and are you using the MHuss bias mod?
where can you even get trannies for a DR400 size'd power amp?

It was 720+ unloaded. Heyboer makes a dr400 set. I am using my own voltage doubler and currently getting -65V Max negative voltage
