Giving up on the Timeline? Or is the Tentacle a business venture?

I still need to pick up a parallel looper, a Prunes & Custard (only thing I ever regret flipping), and then am toying with getting a compressor or not getting a compressor. I might look into an envelope filter....on the fence about that, too.

Once those are squared away, my board will be "complete" and I'll just be in a constant state of improving what I have.

I'll do that!

Yeah let me know whenever. We have noise jams once every few weeks at the shop, I bring out all the weird pedals for those occasions. Or beers, whatever. :joy:
nad wrote:...that thing weighs 35 pounds fully loaded...

Oh good lord...serious?

Including the hard case yeah, I actually weighed it when I was typing that up just to confirm. :)*

The board is currently 14 pounds and the case is another 20ish. I used the soft case for a year or so but once I picked up the big metal thingy I never looked back. Plus it can be covered in STICKERS! :yay:

WTF!! I have written this 3 times now. I PMed about the MeatWad Sousa. I would have to sell my BEF Pro, I already have a buyer if I want to. What makes this hard is that I Use the LFO and Step Sequencer on that pedal a bunch, so it's not a no-brainer like I wish.

OH FUCK FROSTWAVE FOR SALE ON TB. I can't resist that. I haven't even plugged in my Blue Ringer for over a year, but that is one pedal I'll NEVER sell. Toomuchawesomeomg.

Checked out the Robot Factory stuff too, pretty amazing prices. :poke:

On the board is silicon. Best. Fuzz. EVER. Still the king for me. The double germanium I just got is in the Markbutt clip above, and is god damn amazing.

I had a regular germanium at one point, wasn't really that impressed. Actually it was sold to me as a double germ, and I quickly sold it to the next dude as a double germ, but now 3 years later I realize no, it was NOT a double germ that I had. Sounded nothing like this one. :grumpy:

B:Assmaster rankings:
silicon :omg:
double germ :joy:
germanium

I still love and abuse my Silicon version. Love love love it. I want to try one of the extended frequency silicon versions someday, but I'll still never get rid of mine.

My double germ has the extended lows thingy, I haven't tried it in a band mix yet but I kinda know what to expect, I think? :idk:

To me part of the love of the OG silicon is the fact that it doesn't have a perfectly retained low end. Gives it that super-mid-forward thing that punches ugly children in the mouth!

Or something.

True. I love the filtery sputtery edge it gets when you turn down the sensitivity knob. Makes it cut like no other.

Yarp. The only downside to a silicon Assmaster is that it doesn't make me breakfast in the morning after having its way with me again and again each night. But that's a minor complaint at best, I'm more than okay with this particular variety of continuous rape.

nad wrote:Hey if you're down south cruise by sometime. L'Katanasound has spent most of its journey with me on my board. I took it off for a spell but then missed it too much, it's the only HEAVY fuzz I've ever used that actually works in a mix for me. I'm always drawn to heavy, thick, high gain fuzz pedals but they are only fun at home really.

Same, I keep trying other fuzzes too and when it comes to playing with el bandz it just works! My secondary fuzz fuzz ATM is a Eau Claire Thunder and while I really love the sound it doesn't sit as well... It's funny I think I have spent more $$$ on my secondary fuzz [fuzz for more extreme fuzzies] then my main fuzz or my synth fuzz... AND I"M STILL NOT 100% happy :grumpy:

That is kickass. It's cool you've got it down to a nice easy to move around setup... I on the other hand am looking to go bigger... :picard:

Dude, the octamizer. Tell me about it. I got some store credit saved up, and I think I'm going to have to grab myself one.
