I test guitars using Seasick and Pastoral by TJL, and then Modern Kicks by the Exploding Hearts. I recall testing a few amps using Hooch by the Melvins and getting weird looks from the kids next to me with their pointy Ibani and their Line 6s.

my favorite was the time i was playing a Tele at Guitar Center...when "Kashmir" came on the store system i sat there and played sarcastic country & western licks all over it, which totally cracked up all the salesmen.

Seriously! I was just there today, and they cut me some awesome deals for two Ampeg PF115LFs. I can only imagine it was 'cuz laughs were had all around.
