Been having fun with my main squeeze. She was a nasty yellow tele with P90's, now she's beautiful

Pictured here with her sister, who started off life as a Squier Bronco Bass. I love that modded squier toan- haunting mids for dayz.

That natural Tele Deluxe is hot shit. I love natural with black guards. What's going on with the neck pickup, soldersqueeze?

Seeing as I am stone-cold broke right now, I could only use what I already had laying around, so it's a hot rails type pickup mounted to the body with a blank JM cover blu-tacked over the top

I thought I might as well prep the body for the pups I want while I was stripping it.
I plan on putting a real JM pup in there when I can afford a decent one, but for now she rocks pretty hard anyway. Plus, it's always fun to confuse other guitarists at shows-
"It's a Lace Sensor Noiseless JazzMaster pickup, they only made them for 3 weeks in 1998 and were exclusively made for the Korean market..."

yeah it rules, adds a more bite/more usable than the blacktop humbucker that was there before. its a tonerider and its 10k. the mounting system is like, super crude. i cut up a "telecaster to humbucker" adaptor ring (didnt fit), drilled holes in it and mounted it to the underside of the humbucker pickup ring. works, but id rather have something more elegant and metal for a "truer" tele sound. or w/e.

Hahaha, love that. It's always cool to see people DIY stuff like that. It's a pretty clever idea too. I would like to see a JM pickup like that actually in production. Could be a new flavor. Plus if it were a Lace it probably wouldn't cost two arms and a leg like a lot of other specialty JM pickups.
Did you rip out the pickup selector as well? Looks empty in the pic, which confuses me since you have two pickups (two volume controls?). You really modded the fuck out of that thing. Looks sweeeeet.

Picked this up on Saturday. 98 Dano U2 Reissue.

Thinking about swapping a baritone neck onto it; if I could find one.

My girlfriend has the same one. I love that color scheme. And it sounds great!

I've honestly only been using this guitar for the past month or so, and ended up recording an EP with it last night. Didn't have any DSLR photos of it yet, so I figured I'd take some while it was nice out today

Where did you order a gold pickguard from?
I am considering one for my sunburst JM, or maybe white or black.
