OA was fucking cool.
I don't even know what the fuck it was supposed to be in the end, but that's what I loved about it the most.
Plus I randomly want to
bust out the angelic dance sequence on people that annoy me.

I thought The OA was dumb as shit and felt a bit duped for watching it until the end hoping for things to somehow make sense. I mean, there are plot holes in there big enough for a medium-sized kaiju to pass through.

Thats why it was rad.
The ambivalence.
Endless ambivalence.

OA = Just about my favorite thing Netflix has done.

Started watching Lost, on season 2 now. I always avoided this show because it seemed pretty dumb, but it's strangely intriguing...
Apparently the end is shit, but shhhhhhh I'm not done.
I'm glad that the MID-2000s XTREME SHAKY ACTION CAM chilled out a few episodes in; it was making me nauseous.

Ive now firmly logged the Death Note movie in the same "shit but thats kinda what makes it good" catagory Iput most disater flicks in.
I am a man, a man who firmly loves trash.

Yeah, if you're the kind of person who can get laughs out of Final Destination, The Faculty, Disturbing Behavior and all those other edgy late '90s/early '00s teen flicks, you'll have a good time with Death Note. They *nailed* that vibe, whether they meant to or not.

I'm making my way through season 1 right now and I'm absolutely loving it. Season 2 is available on Crave as well so I'll be going straight into that when I'm through with season 1

We watched Neon Demon last night. Was cool but the stream quality was really grainy and nasty, which made me realise that I haven't watched anything on bluray in ages and it is SOOOO much better.

I couldn't find any mention of Mindhunter in the search engine. Who else is excited for Fincher's latest production?

There's a Turkish film called Baskin on Netflix. I just finished it. I'd recommend it to people who are into colored lights, hellish dungeon type spots, and ritual sex involving a full bodied woman with an animal skull face. There's also some Fulci eye-stabbing going around and like reincarnation themes which are dope? Check it out. Music's cool in it.
