Great post for #3000! (I don't know why I am fixated on these things)

That is awesome stuff @moid
I recorded my kids and their cousins playing some giant vibraphone things on a playground and scattered it through this recording. Loved the sound of those things. Really got me wanting something like it at home or a handpan or something similar.

Thanks very much - I really like your playing too! I'm not sure why but bits of it make me think of Bladerunner... kind of synthy reverb over that drone maybe, whatever it's great

Listen to moid's latest album,it's great and way better than anything I would put out anyway.

Very sweet of you to say so, but I'd love to hear you get more recordings with the harmonium you have on your youtube channel... that is an instrument I'd love to own. By the way your song titles are fascinating... they feel like miniature stories in themselves.

moid, my young friend, I'll tell you what I'll do because I like ya....The next thing I record (possibly this weekend) will feature harmonium. I cannot guarantee it will be good, but it will have harmonium. That is my vow to you. I'll also come up with a special title just for you (please note special doesn't necessarily mean good).
Harmoniums are fun, unfortunately - from my research, you kind of need to buy a nice one or else you'll have a bunch of issues. So be prepared to spend a bit if you want something half decent.

Yes, I remember seeing one in a folk music shop in London a few years ago and it sounded glorious, but the price tag was equally epic
Anyway, here's something I found on Youtube - gamelan music played on microtone guitar - I think it suits this thread well

Yeah, that sounds great, thanks for posting.
One day, when I consolidate my power, I plan on having a house gamelan composer write music for me and have his orchestra preform his works for me 24/7 in the courtyard. It really is the music of the gods.
It's snowing here today, so I had to cancel my appointment to drop off my mixer for repair. Rescheduled for next weekend.

Just imagine what The Mills Brothers would've sounded like if they had a Glockenspiels/Singing Bowls/Gongs/Bells/Array Mbira player in the band.
