I hope that is a demo of the Green Monster v2, won't be able to watch till I get to my PC...I really hate how my iPad won't let me watch YouTube vids embedded on ILF anymore :grumpy: . On some sites YouTube links still work :idk:

You should! Super Oscillo Fuzz 88 is the best fuzz I've tried.

I'm really interested in the Transroom! Need to save!

The song of my life.
Ugh, tell me about it. The Transroom sounds like everything i wanted the Misty Cave to be. The Clean and Dirt Bass demos kill me. Fuck. I'm dead.

I wish the camera coulda been kept stiller during parts of the flikrrr demo video. Is it just me, or were the demos very "subtle" sounding?

I think when i invariably end up revamping my board in a fit of boredom and self-hostility, the Transroom and Tone Mosaique will find ways into my life and into my heart. I need that weird bullshit.

I think the subtleness of the flikrrr on the demos is kind of in line with the ripplet. I kind of feel like the intent of his tremolos/modulation is to be like an always on kind of effect that can be powered through and is just there to add subtle life without going over the top. Also, the lack of depth kind of fits with the whole flickering flame kinda thing and it should do interesting things to auto filters and other env effects after it.

I kind of see his oscillo pedals as being the more in your face modulation-subsitute and these trems just being for subtle life and complexity. It is a weird line to draw, but I think it works.

Should be able to tell more in a few weeks when it is here. M
I used to always want the hard stop/stutter vox percussion trem...kinda more on the blended, still hear my guitar side these days haha.

I get it, and i'm excited to hear your thoughts when it arrives. With Vibrato and Chorus, i can do subtle, but i want Trems to be able to chop, personally, but maybe that is a part of my mind that can change. I wound up really liking the Night Wire when i heard the P&E bass demo of it, so who knows?

I could see the Tone Mosaique or the Transroom ending up on my board or my guitarist's board and either of us being really pumped with it. But these days we're falling into a pretty-sludge bullshit hole and foregoing fuzz in favor of rats and overdrive/distortion, so who knows. He has the trem and verb on his AC30 and it's not enough for my tastes.

I have the 88 since the time before i joined ilf.
I got uninterested when Angel Ring and Devil Tail came out...

Devil Tail seems only moderately interesting, but then there's the Octavella and Gomorrah! In addition to sooper fuzzes and sooper oscillofuzzes, and all manner of fun stuff. I would love to try a non-gomorrah fuzz from him some day, but at the moment, the Transroom looks like everything i wanted from the Misty Cave. So whenever i'm making money and getting serious enough about my band, i'll probably trade out my Afterneath for that.
