Have a great trip Ryan! I absolutely love this thing! I keep watching the demo and man, it's so crazy  Ryan, have you ever thought of a dedicated bit crusher pedal? :omg: or now that I think of it, a bit crusher, ringmod, and pitch shifter in one? :joy: :omg: :!!!: :animal:

This thing sounds absolutely fantastic! I really can't wait to get my hands on one of these, so many possibilities in such a small package! It'll be especially great for live performance.

Ryan,
Does the BitQuest higher or lower gain than the high gain side of The Elements?

The gain sounds great.
I don't usually go for filters but I really liked some of those sounds.
The crusher sounds like it's pretty interesting and versatile.
The notch filter is... weird.
I like that ring mod.
I think I need to hear another demo of the pitch shift thing.

It's all very cool and I can't wait to hear the clean demo.

And we're back! We drove 2000 km since Monday, from Sherwood Park AB through the Rocky Mountains to the Okanagan in BC, to a little town called Summerland. Mom and Tanya and I are looking to relocate south this year so we had to investigate the areas a bit, Tanya and I are hoping to build a place and will have to rent a place for awhile, had to check it out. I'm gonna make a post showing some pics of what it looks like driving through the mountains in winter, it's about a 12 hour drive from here in the prairies to there in the okanagan.

Thanks again for watching the video, guys! Fire away if you have any questions about it!

Syl, I'd say the BQ is maybe a little lower gain than the Elements at max.. just a bit though, they have a pretty similar level of saturation when turned up high.

As far as the clean demo goes, I got a new plan.. I ordered a Zoom Q4. I was using a Zoom Q2 for audio with the iPad for video and then combining them in iMovie but it sucks doing that, it takes forever and you can't edit the audio track at all, it's got annoying limitations. The Q4 is gonna do high quality stereo audio with hd video, has a flippin USB cable, and I think it's gonna work better for demos. I've got a ton of pedals to get built over the next week and then the Zoom will arrive and I'll do the bestest demos I can for the clean Quest!

I was thinking of maybe splitting the 8 patches into 8 videos, you think that's better than one long video with clicky links to other parts? Or worse? I'll probably use the Super Reverb and my ASAT Tele, maybe the Jazzmaster is a little thin sounding for a clean demo.. I love how it rips with high gain though.

you're probably right, Syl, the long one contains all the sounds in one place, that's gotta be more convenient..

Oh man, the Okanagan is great! I'd love to move out that way sometime too. I've never been to Summerland, but I've spent some time in Kelowna, Penticton and Princeton in the past and that area is just awesome.

ASAT is perfect! Maybe with a Deluxe Reverb? Then I would just know what it sounds like with my setup ;)

I've drunk some Okenagan wine, that was pretty good. Bodes well!

I think one long demo is handy-pandy-dandy. It really gets my ruffles feathered when that guy GregsGuitars on YouTube releases multiple different videos of the same thing. It's not as if he's completely rearranging everything, he's just going from a blues sound to jazz-blues sound. He makes more money that way though. Reminds me of :excellent:
