I can't remember where you asked this question, but could you demo the Vintage Deluxe with the B3K? Or with the B7K? I want to see how redundant that would be.

Am I crazy or do these Darkglass thingy's actually sound quite modern when compared to, lets say, a Rusty Box or Tech 21 VT Bass or something?

No problem. Keep in mind that the darkglass can be dialed in to have a more vintage, less aggressive tone.
It also depends on the signal you feed into it - most of my basses are medium high to very high output so I'm able to get more dirt.
Using a passive bass will give you a more old-school tone/vibe.

Right, I see, the way I want to use it might be a bit odd though.
I'm thinking about getting a bass preamp for my guitar (with octaver) but I'm more of an Ampeg guy I think.
The Darkglass thingy's sound like just any modern day bass amp to me but I'm not that good in discerning those type of sounds because it's the opposite of what I'm going for, those modern type of bass sounds don't work that well with guitar in my experience.
