Thanks guys! Need to work on the wiring some more, but it sounds promising already.

gunslinger_burrito wrote:Holy shit, that cool! what kind of pickups are the humbuckers?

I bought these pickups for the looks actually, but they sound pretty good too! Snagged them of ebay, here is the seller I got them from: http://myworld.benl.ebay.be/mr_fabulous ... 1423.l2754

Also just found these similar looking pickups for cheap: http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/40039009746 ... 1423.l2649

^^^ Sounds great man!

And that Mockingbird looks awesome, Obulus!

thanks! I have to agree, that is the coolest Mockingbird I've seen. It's almost like a Firebird's rebel biker uncle or something.

here are my electrics

i love the tele. ive had it since i was 19. i replaced the stock pickups with fender 52 reissues, the bridge with a GFS ultralight three saddle brass bridge, and a treble bleed circuit. its just great.

the dot i recently got, and i also love it to bits. the stock pickups are surprisingly awesome, especially the neck. ill be taking some steel wool to the neck soon so get rid of some of the paint.

this beautiful specimen is my 60's Harmony Sovereign.

got it for about $200. super great sounding all solid wood guitar. the action is pretty much as low as it will ever get, but its low enough. working adjustable trussrod too!

Still waiting on the gold anodized pickguard to get here, but pretty (really) content with this Jazzmaster. I've honestly only been using this guitar for the past month or so, and ended up recording an EP with it last night. Didn't have any DSLR photos of it yet, so I figured I'd take some while it was nice out today

Oooohhh, that's unique!

What's the story on that one skully? You mod and refinish it yourself? Is that the Pitchgrinder polar bear strutting around on the headstock?

Yeah it was cobascis', I got it off of him and I've been playing it ever since. Just done a few things here and there to it since I got it- threw a Mastery on it, sprayed the neck pickup cover gold, fixed the rhythm circuit, added threaded neck inserts to the screw holes on the neck since they'd been plugged to make sure the neck was 100% sturdy, took out the tone control, swapped the bridge pickup for a Jazzmaster sized humbucker, added the trem arm and stickers. I just plan on adding the gold pickguard and eventually more stickers and then I think it will be done!

Here's my Goldtop!

I thought about refinishing it, but I'm starting to get used to it. I was also thinking about going with nickel covers when I upgrade the pickups, but I might go zebra (unless I get SD Black Winters).
