A metal distortion of some variety.

I really didn't find the Geiger Counter that hard to use

But I probably didn't try and dive in super deep.
I like the lay out of the franta bit, but I don't like that bubbly-glich it gets when you turn the sample rate down a lot (at least in demos). I liked the dirty sound the GC got. & of course its far more expensive

i like the GC too, i'm always tempted by the Civilian Issue version. but, at least on bass, there's a limited range it works on, and it's SO finicky. plus it would always be something new whenever i powered it up.
i like it, but i could only have one for experimental stuff. i'd never be able to write with one.

In:
240v transformer, patch cables and mic cable.
Out:
Everything goes on eBay tomorrow.
I'm not putting the Hollow Earth up for sale anymore... I'm thinking of selling the Goatkeeper as I already have it configured in 6 of the 9 banks on my M9,... would like something with more control over depth. After this last little sell-off I'm gonna buy a couple more things I wanted but won't be selling to buy anymore. I'm really happy with the M9 and is everything my GT6 wasn't. Things that will be going just to free up cash since the Mesa purchase are my Framus 212 cabinet, KOTv4, Cosmichorus, Harmonic Percolator and my Extreme Reverb. I'm reluctant to list the Extreme Reverb as I'm gonna list the rest of it with a $1 starting bid and the Extreme Reverb won't 'fetch' as much (no pun intended)

I might way for January but then again when IS a good time to sell? Ha! Fuck it. I'm just super stoked with my rig and the fact that certain pedals I want are soon to be released

I had the Civilan and IMO it sounded awful on bass. Too thin sounding and not very good just in general. Blah.

I like bitcrushers....kinda.....I dunno....this will be vague....but I've always been looking for something similar to a bitcrusher but less sci-fi-y and more...real....there's always a few settings on bitcrushers that make me say, "that's close to what's in my head....but not quite there." I'm looking for something that has that shoe gazey ambience but with a more fuzziness vinyl distorted decay like thingy thing. It's like I'm looking for Mad Max and all I'm seeing is Dune....cool stuff...similar....but not quite...
Anyways, Frantabit and Xerograph Deluxe are next on my wish list.

I always thought the Heliotrope made guitar/bass sound like an effed up/lo fi recording
