Awesome concept, sadly the game has a lot of tryhards who roll around in "beds" slaughtering all of the actually cool inventions.
A bed is a super flat panel on wheels, fitted with as many guns as possible. Really hard to hit but they have no problem messing you up. Only made for the purpose of getting the most online video game pretend points.
It's funny to watch flyers who know what they're doing zooming around though.

Anyone get in the Evolve Alpha? I've played a few games, pretty fun.

I know what you mean. Luckly the next update is gonna need a lot of the BS builds people do. Restrict the rail guns to high level players.

I love flying around and wrecking kids. It's hilarious.

ahhh. In a lot of games I neglect all the crap I collect and it just sits in my inventory.

Well then you're probably a lot like me and have a fair amount in your inventory. I only used them for that fight so you can be fairly liberal with throwing them.

Just tried it in a couple more attempts. It really only seemed to make the fight a little bit easier. It's the second group of skeletons that's giving me hell. I'll come back to it later so I don't get too frustrated.

On another note, how come when you have to fight an NPC phantom, they can swing their ultra greatsword like five times faster than you?

The fight's much easier if you throw a skull behind you and run past the skellies. Stab the necromancers and move on, the skellies won't follow and the chariot will eventually kill them. Another option is a good blocking shield.

I've never noticed NPC phantoms swinging faster, but they definitely have instantreactionanimationcancelrolling and infinite stamina. Gets pretty annoying in one particular area.

I hate their damned infinite stamina. Why can't I swing ultra great swords like 15 times in a row after rolling?
I also never use anything in my inventory. It's kind of ridiculous.
I actually had no issues with the boss. Beat it first try. Wish I could tell you what I did but I really don't remember

Chuck alluring skulls, kill warlocks and then the fight is easy once it's just the horse. What kind of build are you using gunslinger?

That was going to be my next attempt.

The only irritating thing in games like this: the computer does what it wants, when it wants. Like when one of those skeletons guards breaks me and does the back stab thing. Dicks.

Yeah, I got to the horse like third try or something, and have just been having the shittiest luck with the skeletons.
I started with a warrior, and have basically just leveled stats high enough to use the claymore and drangleic shield. Sometimes I fuck with the Zweihander, but I hate how slow it is. Using drangleic armor and some other hodge-podge shit. I put just enough points in INT and FTH to be able to equip one miracle, for extra healing or pyromancy. Other than that, I just add points to either vitality, vigor and stamina. In most games I like to play a mainly melee-based character augmented by a smattering of spells. I'm thinking some adaptability may be in order.

So uh didn't know about this but those of you with the DLC you should probably go check out Vendrick's cloths in the room where he's shuffling around.
Also first two bosses of the DLC were surprisingly easy

Yep, you get some interesting dialogue. Make sure you have his crown and the crown of the sunken king.

Did you find the 3rd DLC boss? It's kinda hidden...and a bitch if you're on your own.
