Yeah I think I've heard about that. I drove up to Vancouver with some friends and I think we discussed that. We were all clear though in that department. Though I don't know if the border guard ran our passports or just looked at them and asked us a few questions. So if any of us had a DUI, he might not have known.imJonWain wrote:fun fact, US residents can't enter Canada if you've been convicted of a DUI here.

They also believe he actually thinks that's how it works.
From my perspective, it looks more like he's trying to say, "why the fuck are you bringing that up here, do you have friends from the CBC that told you to? Why don't we have a talk with them."![]()
Not that that's a good thing, but seriously.

And the abuses have been awful. It's been used as a way to replace American workers with cheap foreign workers, some who needed training by the American workers they were replacing just to do the job.

It's the system I have a beef with and the people at the top who are abusing it, not the individuals who hope to come over here for a better life.tremolo3 wrote:Cheap foreign -in progress- worker reporting =]Lurker13 wrote: But I do hope he eliminates the H-1B visa program before the impeachment/resignation. Closing loopholes and eliminating the program are two different things. This is the same reason we shouldn't abolish welfare because of a fraudulent food stamps scam.Lurker13 wrote:"Are they friends of yours?"friendship wrote:He's definitely more known for his deft use of nuance and irony than his history of racial discrimination and stereotyping.jrfox92 wrote:Apparently, people actually believe Trump was referencing April Ryan's "blackness" when he made the "can you set up a meeting with the CBC" crack.
