I'm sorry, I'm going to go against the grain here yet again and say no it's not. Do you really want Mike Pence to be President because I don't.
I think he needs to respond fast, but this type of shit happens constantly.

Because it was in international waters, they could not engage (meaning launch a missile). It was a spy ship.
What needs to happen is the Dems and Repubs need to pull their collective heads out of their asses and get it together. This fighting is making us look weak as fuck and will end us if they don't get that shit going instead of fucking with each other under the radar.
I'm so fucking sick of this shit. Trump is President, like it or not. Take care of these fucking issues with folks like Russia, then do the other shit. We cannot allow ourselves to have all our resources (CIA, FBI...etc) investigating this bullshit when we are at risk of being invaded or attack by a foreign nation.
He is sending troops to Syria, so that's good. Kill the fuck out of Isis hopefully and scare Vladimir at the same time. He'll back down once he knows were are pushing troops out. He doesn't want a drone to take his ass out.

If Trump's Russian connection turns out to be a legitimate national security issue, then that would drive a wedge between Trump and enough of his supporters (i.e. the rational ones who voted for him out of frustration rather than idolization) that the Republicans could impeach him. And then they get their purge.

I think we REALLY need that law that says the president can't launch a nuclear first strike without a declaration of war. Because seriously, just how insane is Trump? Is he "Try to impeach me and I'll launch the nukes!" insane?

I agree with your first half there dude, and while finally addressing Syria is the right move, I'm highly skeptical at this point that ISIS as an "entity" can actually be beat.
They're amorphous and hard to pin down. Theyre not an instution with concrete infrastructure, theyre more like a rolling gang of circus mobsters, travelling around setting cells, selling their ideals, fucking shit up and then leaving some goombahs behind to narc on people trying put their lives back together.
They already lack what it takes to actually eatablish this stupid "caliphate", they cant govern worth a shit or even have basic respect for the people their supposed to rule over, so their short sighted regime will eventually eat itself and something else, probably just as moronic will pop up to replace it.
Its a difficult position for the countries thay have the capabilities to intervene watch all this happen because we know more intervention means more conflict, but a lot of people are dying in the meantime.
More annoyingly, its being used as political sideshow by western leaders to detract from the ever increasing erosion of civil rights to pave way for the corporations, but hey, live in fear a brown guy will bomb you for reasons that are vague and unclear.
Anyway, my point was, miltary good, but also sorta bad.
And the whole treason thing. Thats huge. Have people hit the strets asking for his arrest yet?

I think it's more likely you'd see a coup before you'd see an unprovoked nuclear first strike from Trump.
As much as people like to bullshit about something that absolutely fucking absurd, it's extremely unlikely that it'd happen unless the ball carrier was a rabid Trump supporter (and I mean Hitler youth level support, not "I'd vote for that guy if I were drunk and my only options were him and Hillary Clinton" kind of support), the entire Secret Service was filled with rabid Trump supporters, the entire administration was filled with rabid Trump supporters, and Trump was genuinely that insane. Which he's not.

I'm not sure about the Treason thing because it's not concrete yet. We'll see how it goes I guess.
Either way, we are in a fucking mess here and we need it to get fixed quick.

Apparently you need a civics lesson. The president is the commander-in-chief of the United States military. If he says "Launch a nuclear strike," then a nuclear strike gets launched. NOBODY in the military has the right to question his decision.

Yeah, I saw it. There has never been a coup in the history of the US. You cannot depend on the military to conduct a coup just because they don't like the order. Military training being what it is, if POTUS gives an order, it gets obeyed. The Secret Service, the football carrier, and the rest of the military are trained to follow orders. And right now, he has the authority to launch a nuclear first strike, and no, he does not have to explain why to the football carrier, the Secret Service, or anyone else.
That being said, maybe the "I'll launch the nukes if you impeach me" was a little paranoid, but Trump really is quite insane - he's a narcisist, a pathological liar, and may even be suffering from Alzheimers (which would explain a lot). And he seems to be trying to lead us down the road to authoritarianism and make himself another Kim Jong-un. So stop acting like he isn't, fox.

No, you're mostly right, but for things get to the point where the military may start thinking about staging a coup, the situation must be incredibly dire.
If there's any time in U.S. history when the President might be in danger of being overthrown, that time may be right now.

Thanks, Chank. And what you are saying is true, but I hope it doesn't happen that way. It would set a bad precedent.
If he is removed from office, I hope it will be peacefully, by Congress. I'll admit I was being a little paranoid earlier, but this non-stop chaos is making me a little crazy, and I don't see any end in sight while he is in the White House.

Ain't gonna disagree with that. They are shitbags.
Its such a shitty tactic to entrench themselves among the innocent. If there was a way to extract them clearly....

I thought the military had powers against the commander in chief if the decision was stupid enough? IE, that one.
