Found out today that my dog has cancer and only has a few more months left. We've had him since I was 4

A girl I've been dating said that she doesn't think the relationship is working out, because she feels that I'm "not trying".
I can try harder, but after this point, after her saying that, I don't know how worth it trying would be.
Also, I no longer know what trying entails.

dude,

brohug. Sorry that being nice is seen as "clingy", that's total bullshit.
We're gonna talk about it today, and, if anything, stay friends. She's pretty cool all around, and she goes to shows, but then again, there's a lot of things that I kinda didn't enjoy the entire time. Like, say, driving friends to a party, then getting too drunk to drive, so I drive them somehow, and finagle my way back to my car, only for her to get back into the car and drive afterwards.
sigh.

Russian Circles is playing a show close to me tonight, but I'm working to late to make the drive.
I just want to get in bed and fall asleep listening to Bon Iver and holding my girl.
Work sucks. Distance sucks (broken record, I know). Sunday's suck.
Merp.

being hung over all day sucks. It's 5:30 and I finally feel like I can eat something now. I didn't even drink that much.

I had that yesterday, it really ruins an entire day, you just can't really do anything. And those are always the days when you wake up horribly early.

I have never actually had a proper hangover. (I think)
The night after getting the drunkest I ever got, I woke up at 9am, ate a large pizza, had a shower, and I felt like nothing ever happened.
Oh the joys of being young!
