Ry is nothing but a nice guy and has been absolutely awesome every time I've ordered from him/talked to him, and some wacko is going off that Ry is abusing him and losing sales as a result, blah blah blah. I figured this place was the best place to talk about that, cause Ry is primarily a TB builder and all that.

bongomania is one of those TBers who I actually really like and whose opinion I trust. Ultimately his issue was resolved,...but I don't consider TC to have a good track record in the Customer Service.

Now I'm not fully abreast of the Situation between Ry and Atlas how it started,....but I've always considered Ryan to be a standup guy. So with that regard,....Mr Atlas can go back to the Jerk Town he is the Jerk Mayor of.

Hrrrmm.. TC has a nice customer support here in europe/austria. Maybe because they're a European company and it's easier for them

also, Bongo's a helluva guy. i bought an Exar pedal off of Erukus, thought it was broken because the octave up sounded like a cat being pushed through a grinder (not in a good way), sent it to Bongo (he's a US rep for Exar), he told me, "NOPE! that's how it's S'POSED to sound!", offered to send me any other Exar pedal he had there to me. i thanked him and told him to surprise me. he DID. sent me the Super Fuzz, which is actually a thoroughly rad fuzz. has this filter that gives it a neat rang of tones. he rokks. i like him.

also also, i don't get the hate for Skrillex. i DID like his stuff better when he was Sonny, and his image is a little mebbe douchey? but i just listened to about an hour of his stuff on Spotify (love that thing) whilst running some Need For Speed....... and it's got some good stuff in there. it's not really original, all the IDM cats have been doing that for ages, and the thing that's a bit of a letdown is the lack of dynamics. the stuttery stuff lends it self VERY well to breaks and shifts in mood, but everything is at pretty much the same tempo. there's no payoff..... it's like getting a Thai Lady Boy handie that constantly stops about 12 seconds before you finish and feeds you a Slushy until you calm down. then repeats.

but i'd WAY rather see pop music try to integrate something like the wobble or skrahhhReech that's going on there than fucking autotune.
