The Clockwork from Rockett is another evolution of the Memory Man. It was designed by Howard Davis. The Suhr is odd to me, since it looks like it's going to be quite expensive without many bells & whistles beyond presets & hi/lo cut.Gone Fission wrote:It is analog delay season. Kind of curious about this spate of delays all coming out so close in time. Maybe someone who designed a local favorite pitchy delay did contract work on at least one of these guys?
Am I the only one who thinks the Suhr looks like the timebender's rich but kinda boring cousin?Gone Fission wrote:It is analog delay season. Two others joining the Seymour Duncan:

Omg dude you are totally right. The screen really does it. The weird thing is I find them both ugly but all of a sudden the suhr just looked about 40% more attractive to mePanicProne wrote:Am I the only one who thinks the Suhr looks like the timebender's rich but kinda boring cousin?Gone Fission wrote:It is analog delay season. dubkitty wrote:i appreciate that 1100ms is quite long for analog delay, but i just can't see spending north of $500 for a delay with what to me is still too short of a maximum delay time. for that much i should be able to get something that will let me Fripp out to my hearts' content.
Last I saw Fripp was using rack Eventides with sampler modules. On the Orville and DSP-7500 the max delay time is 43 seconds but the sampler modules give another 174 seconds. These are still running a lot more than $500, though, but not without fair reason in everything else they do.qersty wrote:16000ms is a good number...
It's $379 new.frodog wrote:I like it though, would buy if not too expensive.
