I'd definitely get the coquette with just the middle pickup but I'm a precision/musicmaster kind of guy

Some great stuff happening right now.
So far the Provocateur might be my first moderate success. So far each one is seeming to get grabbed within a week of posting it so that's promising.
Last night I buffed out this gorgeous black example with f-hole.
I'm thinking about putting a bigsby on it and making it the first vibrato equipped Nelson!
Doing this had a huge hurdle to overcome WHICH I just figured out! I have wanted to be able to use my current bridge setup for vibratos but the normal saddles wouldn't work. I've been planning to have some special roller saddles machined but then happened across an inexpensive mosrite style bridge.
I wondered if the saddles would mount into my bridge frames so I ordered one andnit came today. I'm pleased to report that it functions perfectly and sounds great!
So now the doors will be thrown open for a vibrato option.

Man that looks great. I really, really don't need another guitar, but a Riddle with a Bigsby would make me have some foolish thoughts.

So something like this? Sorry this one is a special order but you get the idea. A bigsby fits very nicely on there!

Finished up the first Grifter last night!
This model is sort of the evolution of the Coquette/Socialite.
1) has a longer body that will accomodate a vibrato.
2) has an elevated fingerboard.
3) smaller pickguard that doesn't cover up so much and exposes the neck section on the face.
4) has some body contours
5) has 22 frets (versus 21)
6) has a sculpted heel for super easy access to the upper register.
7) while I love the "tulip" designs I'm thinking a lot of folks don't so hopefully this design has a bit broader appeal.
What do you think???
