It said it was expected to be delivered yesterday....but I saw it was still in Baton Rouge so I figured it would be today....I think it's running today.

We sometimes don't get our mail until 6pm....so yeah....

But it departed BR yesterday (just checked) and I'm sure the mail's running....it HAS to be. So I'm thinking today is the day.....I think a Xerograph Deluxe is coming in today, too. I'm a bit manic.

Sounds like a fun fun day! FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until next week when the rest of my pedal building loot gets here. Gonna do some stuff to the enclosure today.

Yeah, this whole pedals thing has totally rejuvenated my bass love.

I really had it kicking late highschool and into college. Got my bachelors in music with tuba and string bass but did a ton of art rock and even some black metal bands. I was a band director for three years an that KILLED my drive for wanting to play. It wasn't until I left that to go back to grad school in psych that I started to get back into it. Took a year or so to get that passion back.

Bass was JUST starting to bore me earlier this year when my pedalsojourn started. New band has two guitarist who can do a little keys and the singer can be a 3rd guitar. Gives me a lot of room to play around. Very fun.

It'll cool to see what Delta gets into. We can say we saw the next ss/bs or IE get started. Sweet ass nectar.

My guitarists had a kid and we basically took 6 months off after playing for like 3.5 years mostly continuously. Gave me a chance to dick around with heavily effects laden stuff I like and now that we are playing again I have more energy for it.

I don't know about ss/bs or IE but I am just trying to wrap my head around understanding circuits, the how and why of it all. I have a couple of ideas but I have to get the basics down first. I would be happy to make some cool peds for myself and some friends. I have a guitar buddy that wants me to build a boost for him and that is an easy circuit so I have my first order in though.

Delta - NICE! i'm actually on purpose staying away from building stuff. i've done some circuit bending and i wrap my own cables when i have a more complex setup, but i've never built anything from scratch. it's like doing a cover band, i'm afraid of ruining the mystery and allure of my main hobby.

.......... although...... the Robot Devil kit is REALLY calling to me. damnit.

TinyHorsey - yah meng. i've had about 3 or 4 months since i quit the last band. it was so fucking stifling at the end that i was kinda not into doing music. shit is WAY more fun now. ready to get back to playing out though.

I've built pedal boards...wooden stuff....as far as I'm concerned, pedals work because they're magical and that's how I'm keeping it.
