I cleaned up my room which resulted in a few things:

my band played a show friday night to a sold out crowd, and i've had two reviews give praise to me specifically. part of me is like, "man, people really don't have high expectations for bass players." but then the rest of me is like, "yeah, i killed it."

Everytime I get compliments after a gig, all I can think of is "you're only saying that because we're the only band you've ever seen where you can actually hear the bass"

I found some peeps who want me to play bass for them (albeit in a prog-leaning band, but whatevs, it's a band) and will potentially be buying a Boss DD-6, AW-3, volume pedal, and vintage Aria phaser for $100 total off a guy who is graduating and doesn't want to bring his gear with him. I also acquired some comfy new socks and underwear. Today was a good day.
