Long-winded set-up; some of y'all know that, among other things, I'm a hard-core PC gamer; one of my interests there is in sim-racing (only way I can afford to toss $120K worth of Porsche around on a track). Currently, I'm racing in a seriously hard-core sim titled GTR2, and people can build cars using various 3D modeling softwares and upload them to race-sim sites for others to download and add these cars into their game. A few weeks ago, someone put together a car pack based on the Suzuki Swift, and one of the cars included is this one - note the title sponsor's name...

I still need to get GTR2 sometime, I remember you mentioning it when I was looking for racing games.

HIGHLY recommend any of the SimBin titles...I have both GTR2 and GT Legends (don't be put off by the release dates of those...the graphics, etc are scary-good!). It's kinda a pain in the ass installing GT/L these days if you're running either Vista or Win/7 (friggin' StarForce copy protection), but an official workaround is available - PM me if you're interested and I can point you to where you need to be...

I want a PS3 just so I can play GT5. I've owned all the Gran Tourismos and they are excellent games.

So it's a toss up,....get my pedalboard plans rolling. I want to build a guitar specific fuzz/OD/Compy board and split my bass board up into an Octave->Fuzz->Filter->Compy->Noise board and then make a common modulation/time board for keyboard/music stand deal. That means I'll need two more power supplies and I'm think a total of 3 PT-JRs.

In order to do the PS3 thing I would need a serious TV upgrade as I'm still rocking a tube TV and I want a new flatscreen.

I really wish there were more good racing games built with PC in mind...I wish Forza was on PC. Tuning my 1968 GTO for maximum acceleration but keeping it one point away from entering the next-higher class was great fun in multiplayer...destroy everyone on the starting line by 5 or 6 seconds and "gently" keep them at bay for the rest of the race.
I like GRID as well, but that one's more like "Everyone Wrecks Their Shit on the First Turn and the Race Becomes 1-on-1: The Game".

I'm really attached to my Supercollider for the Doom Toanz on guitar but don't wanna give it up on bass. I'm seeing the Dizzy Tone and the Wolf Computer pulling guitar duty and keeping the Supercollider (maybe getting a second one or building a clone for personal use on geets) and the Shiva on the Bass board. I like having a normalish fuzz for a main tone then do the ocillomotorboating to provide a noise generator for the Murf.

Need to start getting into more OD/Disto/Clean Boost toanz as well.

Also got that WSOU coming in (clears customs,...takes a moment to get to me whatevers).
