Thanks dude! I'm pretty happy with it. After going back and forth between that guitar and my Obstructures, I think I might try to save up for an alumitone pickup to try to match the output volume of the EGC pickups. The jag sounds so quiet haha

Put a clean boost at the front of your board just for the jag, use it to make up for the difference in output between the guitars. I used to do this all the time as it keeps the tone of the guitar as it is but allows you match the output of your other guitar so your pedals react the same and you don't have to change settings.

YES. Trooof. TROOF. Plus cheaper. Cause I've already got a Super Duper laying around and I love the Phat Cat sound. I'm gonna do that! Now to rehouse that Super Duper clone... THANKS ANCIENT!

I figured out why the Jag was so low output all the sudden- I wired the pickup out of phase. Swapped around the wiring and its still not quite as loud, but definitely has a ton more volume than it did before
It occurs to me that I've never shown my "musical gear that I would grab out of a burning building" guitar. Not because it's the nicest thing I own, but because my grandfather gave it to me when I was three years old.
Sound great out of the case, but will need bigger strings. I don't know what is on the guitar "stock from fender"... so not sure if I will put .10 or .11... any advice (I have .10 on the PRS)? Might change the pickup for some Lollar later... but those sound great.
The wood is oak.
What is the cap shoud do for the tone?
