The 1975 solid state Peavey head that came as a package deal with my cab...sounds...awesome?!
Better, so far at least, than my toob head. I REALLY like the way it sounds. Huh. After playing through a Hartke HA3500 for so long, I didn't know that SS amps actually reacted to signal boosts and fuzz in ways other than FIZZ PSHHHHTTT OH GOD I'M CLIPPING PSHHTTTTTT.
It actually...CHANGES depending on how much you drive it, rather than just quitting. This is amazing. I might have to get it checked out and maintained by the shop sometime.

I got a summer internship! Basically I'll be screwing around with LEDs and arduino controllers and making electronics not look scary for people who don't know anything about electronics. Should be pretty cool. Now I just have to, uh, not fail out this term...

There's a chance i'll be joining this post-math-rock group i absolutely adore
i'd be doing synths and noises
with drummer's borrowed kaossilator, Monotron, my pedals and a MIDI kontroler for some samples and synth stuff
