The 1975 solid state Peavey head that came as a package deal with my cab...sounds...awesome?!
Better, so far at least, than my toob head. I REALLY like the way it sounds. Huh. After playing through a Hartke HA3500 for so long, I didn't know that SS amps actually reacted to signal boosts and fuzz in ways other than FIZZ PSHHHHTTT OH GOD I'M CLIPPING PSHHTTTTTT.
It actually...CHANGES depending on how much you drive it, rather than just quitting. This is amazing. I might have to get it checked out and maintained by the shop sometime.
