Translating The Name, which is truly peerless post-hardcore... I totally second this. I think Anthony is technically a very talented singer. But Circa is indeed overrated. And while Dance Gavin Dance have a handful of great songs (the first five tracks on the self-titled are godly) they're even more overrated. There is literally nothing DGD has done that Alexisonfire hasn't done better.

So true! Translating the name is pretty much the only thing Green has done that I liked. Alexisonfire is an amazing group of musicians. Another two vocalists I can't stand / think are over rated are Jerry Roush (i think he ruined Skyeatsairplane) and Craig Owens. just sayiing...

You know who's a decent vocalist? Spencer from Underoath. Ø is sort of their best record, TBH.

As much as I dislike them, periphery are on the vanguard of metal nowadays. Their Spencer has a fucking impressive range.

Oh I was talking about Periphery.
I have no idea what Underoath sound like beyond "fucking awful, as it a million millipedes were throwing a disco inside your soul soundtracked with swooping haircuts and the pure angst of underaged fuckwits," so I don't know if they djent.
JWAR! you might like Tau Cross. You want metal-y albums. Their record rules.

Here's a band with a semi similar name and doesn't suck balls.

Also I HATE Periphery so much. They fucking suck ass. The only good thing they have going for them is the bassist.
I'll check out Tau Cross.

They sound nothing like Periphery. Who are apparently very nice guys but not my cup of tea musically.

Yea I met the bassist for Periphery at NAMM and he was very humble and nice. I just hate fucking Djent so bad. lol

Underoath are fucking awful.
Here's one: there are no good System of a Down records.
