Pretty sure comics, anime, video games and general geekery was a thing before Scott Pilgrim. I think dude who mentioned it was saying it was similar, not derivative.

Highlight "scott pilgrim" anywhere in this thread. Right click on highlighted space, select "Search Google for "scott pilgrim"". Click on Wikipedia page. Four mouse-clicks.

Yeah, I was trying to explain this to a friend after I told him about the latest drama with her + her renewed interest in pedals. She's literally incapable of hurting people in some way, and will make herself out to be an asshole soon enough after they start properly paying attention to her.
