Polica just booked a show in my city. Can't wait to dance and watch this beautiful woman for an hour. I mean, I'm excited to see the band as a whole, because their bassist puts down some good lines and I'm interested in seeing how the drummers interact together in a live setting but... yeah, I think she just sounds/looks gorgeous.

So many positive reviews about my bands newest release. And, to top it off, the obelisk blog is loving it too.

Got a grade and commentary on a presentation I did last week with a classmate. Not only did my philosophy professor give us a 100%, but she said our presentation was extremely well done and possibly the best of the semester. I wrote up all our talking notes/analysis, which makes me feel really, really good since this is my first philosophy class (aside from intro, but my professor was so horrible that I don't count it as a class).

Saw Russian Circles last night, they were great! I'd only ever heard one of their songs, but a friend was going so I went along, and they put on an awesome show.

Listening to more of their songs, and she'd be so much better in my opinion if it weren't for the autotune

I just feel like it would add the warmth that they need to their sound, and the hard warbles aren't too nice to hear, IMO.

After I got off work, I went out to a not-so-crowded beach alone.
I walked a ways and then just sat and listened to Mogwai and read.
When a song got quiet, I could just hear the ocean.
It was the most relaxed I have been in quite a while.

Dat bass brings the warmth

I like the autotune in their music, but ya know, different strokes.

The only friend I have that was really into rap moved away a few months ago, and just moved back.
Now I'm talking with him about working on a rap duo over the summer. I just have to get FL Studio working (maybe a windows xp microbuild on dual boot?)

My broken zune only sold for $40, but it's enough for me to buy a pair of shoes (which I need to buy, I'm just trying not to spend much money).
Just have to wait for the dude to send the payment now.

What the hell is an ocean?
Once again, I've slept enough that I couldn't make it to my first class on time and can chillax and take my time getting to the next one.

And...everything in it is weird and/or terrifying.
