I've been thinking about bartending when I turn 21. It just seems like it'd be a fun way to make money for bills.

Working at a bar can be really fun and really stressful, sometimes both at the same time. I recommend finding a place that is pretty laid back, not some uptight club-esque place.

Apart from the vocals, I'm really happy how this turned out, especially considering I recorded it at 3 am on a bunch of pills [/plug]

Google voice is fucking awesome. I use it to text people about ads from craigslist, because I'm worried about giving people my number. I think I just scored an n64 and two controllers for $20. I just have to find out what the hell I'm doing today with my friend, so I can hopefully grab it.

Just got rehired at my old job. Also found out that I'm now eligible for the field course that I wanted to take over the summer.

yea, its different then their last but its still amazing in its own right.

im going from bar backing to bar tending which is a good route to go, u learn all the ins and outs of the bar, which can help if u work shifts without a bar back. try doing guest bar tending shifts, the place i work has 2 guest bar tenders a week. usually other students, helps get more people in on slow nights. ive heard bar tending school doesnt help most of the time, though ive thought about going to one in Manhatten where i could learn flair bar tending which would be cool and possibly help me make more and work at better places

Got a new head and cab today and the seller was a cool older guy. I got to play a Grabber and it was sweet.

Shooting this weekend was brutal, exhausting, and totally fucking awesome. That was as bare-bones as it was going to get, and the crew totally fucking nailed it--faster than expected.

And I only broke fast with two cigarettes, and that's all right with me.

Submitted the research project I've ostensibly been working on all year. Slightly disappointed because I could easily have done a much better job on the final report if I didn't leave it to the last minute, but more happy that I'm done with it, and overal satisfied with what I did.

I was messing with my new cab last night to see if I could make it work.
Turns out I haven't been running it loud enough to get any bass out it.
I turned up the volume and BLAM instant wall of sound.
So now I have a badass cab but I feel like a total dumbass for passing judgement on it.

Tax refund.

i just sent off the last of my data to my preparer. if everything goes right i should be getting enough back to retire the money i owe from last year and get a pretty good slab of cash back. like enough to fix my truck, get the neck on my 335 fixed, pay some bills, and maybe buy a cool box or two. and have some savings left over.

My gym is having another cocktail party tonight. I love my gym so much.

i am killing this presentation for printmaking. it's going to be so fucking good.

also my school does this thing where you get set up with 3 random people and you are given a few days to write a song which you perform later and i got super lucky and have a drummer and a guitarist and maybe a violinist (i think?) in my group. a lot of people who sign up aren't even musicians.

Got groceries and felt a lot better about life. The tree in my front yard is starting to bloom, and it looks amazing already.

Had to bitch out my mom for treating my sister like shit over grades (my mom's fucking insane), but instead of letting that really get me down, I started cleaning out my fridge and doing my dishes. And I told Kate I'm probably going to take her name when we get married eventually (yeah, we're young, but fuck haters, I've found my future wife). She said her family already thinks of me as family, and I almost started crying (okay, I did start, but I'm a man, and men don't cry, right? xD).

And I put in my application to a community college in Buffalo. I'm not going to let myself keep fucking around with life. I'm going to do the shit that I want to do, and I'm going to stop keeping negativity around. Fuck my parents, fuck haters, fuck depression.
