still all about the Kinks. i've moved on to Village Green Preservation Society, which may be the most charming of the lot. it's not even that i like the music so much, though it's quite enjoyable...it's that it sounds so gosh-damned friendly. i understand now why they used to have some of the most rabid fans in Christendom, people who used to just love Ray the way people love an old dog.
