Finally getting around to the Resident Evil 4 HD port, remembered how much I loved this game. Still need to get used to analog sticks, I miss using a mouse. Considering that this was from the GC/Ps2 era - this game still looks really good, the HD just gets rid of the jaggies and slightly corrects the colour.

Awesome game. I think they dropped the ball after 4. I only ever watched my friend play the RE games, but with 4 I had to beat it myself...but it is pretty different from the others.
Wonder if mouse aim with the PC version is easymode headshots, or if they added negative mouse acceleration to make it more joystick-like.

"Far Cry 4 is out this Winter, it is indeed set in the Himalayas and it’s got a harpoon gun in it."
Because everyone knows harpoons are the preferred weapon for yeti hunting.
There will be yeti's right?
Sounds cool though!

I hope that firing the harpoon gun above water causes the straps to snap back and hit you right in the damn face, like in real life.

Ugh, can't go back to Titanfall. I was already very average, after a 2 week hiatus it's just really unpleasant. Kind of why I really hate competitive play, it's the most useless skill that needs to be continuously done over and over so you don't get rusty.

Trying to beat Zelda 2, it's a tough one. Not sure if it's me being stupid, or the game being hard though.

Played Quake 3 Arena last night with a couple of friends. I never got to play Quake or Unreal in their heyday 'cause my PCs were never up to it.
MAN THIS GAME IS SO FAST
We played Halo LAN mode right afterward and it felt like molasses...and the field of view must be like 75 or something, it's like you're constantly zooming in on your hand.
Quake is amazingly fun and hectic.
Totes downloading Quake Live now, it's free

Unreal Tournament was my jam back in the day. Quake and that are why I find modern competetive shooters dull dull dull, running around at 100mph using crazy future weapons wins it every time for me.

Oh man first time playing Minecraft? We won't see you for months
Naw, I have a cracked version, I'm just gonna buy the official version. THEN you won't see me for months. Skullgirls currently has my attention. Its like Marvel vs. Capcom only with less BS and
jiggle physics.

Yeah. Some halo maps get to some of what I liked about Quake, but really halo is too spongey…I would love it if the COD teams or Dice would make a wildly fast future battle arena for next gen, with tons and tons of arena options...

So anyone that plays fighting games, is there really that much of a difference between a gamepad and an arcade stick setup? Is one better pre se? Looking at a few online for the future, just wanted to get y'all opinion. :surprise:

Sticks are a bit easier in the button mash department because you can use multiple fingers.
